Setup guide
Follow these steps to launch a loyalty program your customers will love. You can do them in order or jump to any section from the menu.
Introduction
Loyalino rewards your customers with points for the actions you choose, lets them redeem those points for discounts and perks, and keeps them coming back with VIP tiers and referrals. Everything is configured from your Loyalino admin inside Shopify.
Set your reward rate
Your reward rate decides how many points a customer earns per unit of currency they spend. Open Program, then set points per unit under the place an order rule. A common starting point is 1 point for every 1 unit spent, with rewards that feel valuable but sustainable for your margins.
- Keep the math simple for shoppers, for example 100 points equals a 5 off reward.
- You can apply a multiplier per VIP tier so your best customers earn faster.
Turn the program on
From the dashboard, use the Loyalty live toggle in the header. While the program is paused the storefront widget hides itself and points are not awarded, so you can finish configuring everything before customers see it.
Ways to earn points
Open Program, then add ways to earn. Each rule can be enabled, disabled, and given its own point value.

Rewards to redeem
Under Program, add ways to redeem. These are the rewards customers can claim with their points.
- Amount discount. A fixed amount off, for example 5 off for 100 points.
- Percentage discount. A percent off the order.
- Free shipping. A free shipping code.
- Free product. A specific product added for free.
- Store credit. Codeless credit applied to the customer account.
- Variable redemption. Let customers choose how many points to spend within a range.
VIP tiers
VIP tiers reward your most loyal customers with better earning rates and perks. Open Program, then VIP, enable tiers, and define each level by points or by spend. Each tier can carry a multiplier, a discount, free shipping, and custom benefits, plus its own rank icon shown on the storefront.
Referrals
Turn members into advocates. Enable referrals under Program, choose the reward for the referrer and the reward for the friend, and optionally require the friend to make a purchase before the referrer is paid. Customers share a personal link from the widget or their account page.
Floating widget
The floating widget is the launcher and panel that appears on your storefront. Open On-site, then the widget, to customize it.
- General. Choose popup or sidebar, the position, colors, and typography.
- Storefront content. Set the welcome message, branding, and section labels.
- Launcher. Design the button and control where it shows on desktop and mobile.
- Referral screen. Customize the invite headline and form.
- Translations. Localize every string for your markets.
Dedicated page
Build a full loyalty landing page from blocks: hero, how it works, ways to earn, ways to redeem, referrals, VIP tiers, and FAQ. Open On-site, then the dedicated page, add the blocks you want, and match colors and spacing to your theme. Install the blocks to your theme with one click.
Customer accounts
Show loyalty inside the new Shopify customer accounts. Enable new customer accounts in Shopify, then turn on the Loyalino account extension under On-site. Members see their balance, tier progress, ways to earn and redeem, and their referral link.
Product and cart
Promote earning where customers buy. Add the product page badge to show how many points an item earns, and the cart placement to surface rewards during checkout. Both support positioning options under On-site.
Emails
Loyalino sends transactional loyalty emails such as points earned, reward claimed, and points expiring soon. Open Settings, then Email, to enable each trigger and customize the content. On paid plans you can send from your own verified domain for a fully branded experience.
Point of Sale
Reward in person too. Open Settings, then Point of Sale, to let staff look up members, award points, and redeem rewards from the Shopify POS app. You can require a staff PIN and control whether POS orders earn points.
Integrations
Connect the tools you already use under Settings, then Integrations: reviews, email and CRM, help desk, subscriptions, and analytics. You can also connect Claude and other AI clients through the Model Context Protocol, and build custom flows with the REST API.
Going live
When you are ready, confirm the program is turned on, the widget is enabled in your theme app embed, and your earn rules and rewards are active. Place a test order to confirm points are awarded, then announce your program to your customers.
